SW-09 Bandai TFA Millennium Falcon (1/144) Lighting Kit

This lighting kit is for the new Bandai TFA Falcon kit and consists of the following:

Battery Holder & Switch Unit
4 x White LEDs for engines
1 x Red & 1 White LEDs with fibre guides for Cockpit
1 x Warm White LED for Ramp
1 x Warm White LED for Upper Gun Turret

The Ramp and Gun Turret lights are on pins and sockets so you have the option to install them or leave them out.

The cockpit LEDs are also on a pin and socket so that the cockpit lights can be fitted easily then plugged when adding the cockpit to the main body.

The lighting set is fully wired so there is no soldering to do and it also makes use of the features Bandai have incorporated in the base kit for lighting to be added.

Please note that this lighting kit does not provide any lights for the Front Running lights in the mandibles.

Full instructions are provided and the battery holder is accessible after construction to allow for switching on/off and changing batteries. The set runs from 2 x CR2032 batteries (not supplied)

In short, everything you need to light up this excellent miniature of that great 'hunk of junk'!

"As it says in the title, "Just Perfect"... for those amateur modelers like myself that have nil skills at electronics, I do like the fact that it comes pre-wired so there's no risk of messing things up learning to use a soldering iron. The lighting kit has a minimal amount of wiring to deal with and the LED's are not overwhelming to place into their positions, they're at their correct size and utilize the pre-mounts already included with the bandai kit itself. The only thing required for one to do is drill the tiny holes in the cockpit wall for the fibers to thread into, and the gun turret LED hole, that's it! Tested with a dry fit in the hull of my Falcon and mapped out the routing for the wires which aren't thick and bulky, you can very discreetly tape everything to the bottom of the Falcons main saucer where it wont interfere. LED colors for the cockpit are red and white and are pretty much static, meaning they don't blink on and off or in any kind of sequence which I really don't mind. It's a great kit and it beats the heck out of the official Bandai lighting kit by far!!!" Tere Ngarua - 01 June 2017
